Inca And Tiawanaco Civilizations 7 Days - 6 Nights
Day 1: Lima / Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes
At 7am after breakfast in your hotel we pick you up and transfer to Lima Airport, aboard the plane and flight to Cusco (1hr). Arrival to Cusco and welcoming reception at the airport and transfer directly to The Sacred Valley of The Incas, stop along the way to visit the Chincheros archaeological site, Urubamba valley (heart of the sacred valley of the Incas). Finally arrive to Ollantaytambo (2700m) where we have lunch at the typical restaurant. Complete guided tour to Ollantaytambo fortress, located on the slopes of the mountainous range. At 2:55pm we catch our Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes and travel 2 hours to get the closer town to Machu Picchu. Arrive to Aguas Calientes (1780m), welcoming and transfer to the selected hotel; Optional visit the hot spring (L).Day 2: Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu Full Day / Ollantaytambo
aAt 5:30 breakfast will be server in the hotel and then aboard one of the first bus up to Machu Picchu (Old Mountain). Enter to the most important ceremonial center of the Incan culture, complete guided tour to tis archaeological site, visit the most important places. For hiker lovers we have climb to Wayna Picchu (Young Mountain), at the top exist th moon temple from you can have spectacular view of Machu Picchu and the canyon of Urubamba canyon. After appropriate time descend to Machu Picchu and free time to explore on your own. At mentioned time aboard the bus and descend to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and late noon travel by train to return to Ollantaytambo and stay in a hotel of this wonderful valley (B - L).Day 3: Ollantaytambo / Sacred Valley Tour / Cusco
Today we continue our guided tour to the second part of the Sacred valley of the Incas, the tour run in our private van through Andean markets and archaeological sites such as Urubamba, Yucay, Calca, Lamay, Pisac, Pucapucara, Tambomachay, Qenqo and finally Saqsayhuaman fortress. At 12pm arrive to Cusco and free afternoon for personal activities or opcional complete walking guide tour Cusco city, where we visit the Cathedral, Koricancha sun temple and the main square (B).Day 4: Cusco / Puno
Early breakfast and departure to Puno by luxury tourist bus, this tour stop along the way in places like Andahuaylillas church, Raqchi (Archaeological sites), Sicuani farmer town (lunch) - La Raya pass (4250m) and Pukara artesian Andean town. At 5pm arrive to Puno and then transfer to the hotel around the lake Titicaca (B - L).Day 5: Puno / Uros And Amantani Islands
At 8am you will be picked up from your hotel. Travel and after 2 hours by motor boat and then you will arrive at the Uros Island. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water. Continue traveling in our boat, we will get the next island called Amantani, just arriving there will be first contact with local’s families, they bring you up to the homes, there you get your accommodation for one night in basic typical room between the agriculture fields. The local family will supply yours all foods (1L - 1D - 1B). After lunch all the group together walk up to highest point of island, called Pachatata temple = 4200m. Is the best place to get pictures from all surround views of this blue sacred lake of the Incas. After the explanation of your tour guide, back to the homes to get your dinner and then you can go to enjoy typical dances with the local music players. Overnight in local family home (B - L - D).Day 6: Lake Titikaka / Taquile Island / Puno
At 7am after family breakfast meet the entire group and travel by boat to the Taquile island, 2 and half hours crossing the lake you will arrive at the last place to visit. Visit and explanation about the live, culture, typical costume and every common activity at the main square, short treks around the island including lunch in the co-operative restaurant, there is also a co-operative shop on the plaza that sells exceptional woolen goods which are not cheap but of very fine quality. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles. The island is narrow only about 1 KM wide, but 6 to 7 Km. long, on Taquile there are numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. At 4 or 5pm we will return to Puno and stay in the selected hotel (B - L).Day 7: Puno / Sillustani Funeral Towers / Lima
At 7am we pick you up from the hotel and then we go by private car, this archaeological site is located 34km away and the north of Puno. It is one the most important necropolis in the world. It stands at 4000m. There will visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani, cylinder burial towers built of stone, (12m / 40ft tall) where the Aymaras buried their important leaders. Just in front of the Chullpas is the lake Umayo, only adds beauty to the place, the Chullpas known as lagarto and Intiwatana are most prominent. Here you will have the opportunity to observe the wild guinea pigs, birds and other wildlife of the area. From Sillustani funeral towers we have transfer to Juliaca airport and aboard the airplane to Lima and end of our service.B = American breakfast / L = Buffet lunch / D = Tourist dinner / S = Snack

Advice For Travelers:
The best time to visit Peru/Machu Picchu is between April and July, just before of the high tourist season. The best place to exchange dollars for soles is in the big cities, the are many change office, airports. Credit cards are welcome in most of tourist places. Normal voluntary tipping for tour guides, waiters and other camp staff is 5/10%. For a day or two day trip you will need to bring only a day backpack to carry necessary things, the rest of your items can be stored in the hotels or in our local offices.What You Need To Bring/Carry
