Tour Discription:
Day 1: Welcoming To Arequipa / Santa Catalina Monastery
Morning will the reception at the bus station or airport and then transfer to your selected hotel in Arequipa and free morning for resting and acclimatization.
Afternoon city tour of Arequipa, including Santa Catalina monastery, the Main Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Peru, and the Cathedral, a prime example of XIX century Peruvian architecture, housing beautiful treasures in gold and silver. We also visit the La Compania Church, and ancient Jesuit temple, one face is even crowned with feathers. Also we go out center to visit the Yanahuara and Carmen alto viewpoint from is possible to appreciate the magnificent of conical form of Misti volcano and Chachani snow-capped.
Day 2: Arequipa / El Pedregal / Huambo / Cabanaconde / Colca Canyon
Departure to the Colca canyon in our private 4WD, travel to see the rest of the north part of Desierto de Atacama and drive up to the highlands crossing the valley of Vitor, Alto Sihuas, El Pedregal - short explore the remains of Wary culture named Huacan - Visit the south part of the Volcanoes range named Pampa Qerqe - Ampato mountain viewpoint (4300m). Arrival to Cabanaconde (3280m) and lodging in the hotel - Afternoon is at leisure - Stay at the selected hotel of Cabanaconde (B - L - D).
Day 3: Colca Canyon / Condor Cross Viewpoint / Chivay / Pampas Cañahuas / Puno
Early morning short hike to the Condor Cross - After wait for the Condors flights - Visit several remote villages on the left bank of the second deepest canyon in the world - Arrival to Chivay to have buffet lunch and then drive up to the highest pass named Patapampa (4850m) and enter to the national reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca located on the norteast face of Chachani and Misti volcano, this reserve is home of Vicugnas, Alpacas and Llamas grazing on even terrain. After 6 hours in our private 4x4 vehicle arrive to the highest city of Puno (3800m). Stay at the hotel of Puno (B - L).Day 4: Puno / Uros And Amantani Islands / Family home
After breakfast we will be transferred to the port in Puno to start our Titicaca tour, we will use a speed motor boat to visit the floating Islands of Los Uros, and head towards Amantani where we will become one more islander. Tonight we will be welcome with an Andean party, with local musicians. Stay in a family home (B - L - D).Day 5: Amantani Island / Taquile Island / Puno
After breakfast we will board our boat to move to Taquile Island, explore hiking the biggest Island of this highest navigable lake in the world, this trek consist from the north to the south side. After lunch come back to Puno - Hotel in Puno (B - L).Day 6: Puno / Sillustani Funeral Towers / Lima
At 7am we pick your from your hotel and then we go by private car, Sillustani archaeological site is located 34km away and the north of Puno. It is one the most important necropolis in the world. It stands at 4000m. There will visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani, cylinder burial towers built of stone, (12m / 40ft tall) where the Aymaras buried their important leaders. Just in front of the Chullpas is the lake Umayo, only adds beauty to the place, the Chullpas known as lagarto and Intiwatana are most prominent. Here you will have the opportunity to observe the wild guinea pigs, birds and other wildlife of the area. This trip takes 4 hours maximum, and then transfer to the airport of Julia and flight to Lima and end of our service (L).Included
