Visiting the Nazca lines by light aircraft beginning in Lima and discover a gigantic calendar used anciently for agricultural purposes according to renowned German scholar Maria Reiche, who died in 1998 after dedicating 40 years of her life to study the lines. For archaeologist it is still mystery and an enigma the origin and meaning of the lines and figures drawing on the plateau desert of the Peruvian coast. Huge figures of animals, birds and people engraved in the sands of the desert, in an area of 500 square kilometers, remain as testimony of an extraordinary Culture that flourished 2500 years ago.
This tour program is dedicated for tourist does not have much time to spend in Peru, we offer a land private trip from Lima and then flight in Cessna caravan airplane to see the Nazca lines from the air, to take the most incredible photos of this natural attraction in order to take the most incredible photos of the mysterious Nazca civilization. On the way we will visit the Museo Regional de Ica and the Oasis La Huacachina.

OVERFLIGHT NAZCA LINES TOUR ITINERARY

At 6:30am you will be picked up from your hotel of Lima and then transferred to the Jorge Chavez International Airport and around 8:30am (subject to weather conditions) you will aboard the plane in a direct flight to the city of Ica (subject to weather).
After 40 minutes of flight arrival to private airport in Ica. There you will change of plane to Cessna Grand Caravan 208, C-207 and 206 Aircraft with high-wing specially designed for better visibility of the lowlands. During the flight we see the natural oasis of Huacachina, the set of dunes that make up the great desert of Ica and the valleys of Ocucaje, Palpa, Ingenio and Cahuachi ceremonial center of the Nazca's civilization and then fly over the enigmatic and mysterious Nazca Lines and Palpa.
The flights over the Nazca Lines takes 1:20 hrs approximately and then return to Ica airport where we will take land tour by private van to La Huacachina oasis, this is located outside of Ica where you will enjoy a delicious lunch served in the best restaurant in the area.
After you can do optional outdoor activity as Sandboarding and Sand Buggy tour on the hottest white sand dunes around La Huacachina.
At mentioned time return to the airport and around 5pm flight back to Lima airport and then the tour ends with transfer to your hotel.
