AREQUIPA, COLCA CANYON TREK AND GUIDED TRAVEL TO PUNO $527 USD Per Person - Private Service

At 7AM meetingat your hotel and departure to the Colca canyon in our private 4WD, travel to see the rest of the north part of Desierto de Atacama and drive up to the highlands crossing the valley of Vitor, Alto Sihuas, El Pedregal - short explore the remains of Wary culture named Huacan - Visit the south part of the Volcanoes range named Pampa Qerqe - Ampato mountain viewpoint (4300M). Downhill to the valley of Huambo surrounded by mountainous range. After short stop in Huambo (3200M) we will continue driving up again to the second pass of Chinini from where you can see the driest region of the canyon straight down of Huambo. After 2 hours driving down we will arrive to Pacllia (2200M - 2PM) abandoned valley and then short hike cross a suspension bridge over Llatica River - Then we walk for about 20min into nice valley of cactus forest and following nice track used by local people we arrive Llahuar lodge, which is considered the most quiet and recently discover place to stay in the bottom of the canyon - After late lunch you can enjoy the nature thermal bath next of the river. Stay in nice bamboo room accompanied by starry sky (L - D).

Today you will wake up at 7AM and then country breakfast seeing amazing sun rise over the wall of the second deepest canyon in the world.

Trekking on the right bank of the Colca River, we cross two suspension bridges, passing cactus forest, remote villages and the spectacular view of the canyon. After 6 hours hiking up to 2900M we descend following an stony path to another amazing place named Sangalle (as known Oasis). Sangalle Valley (2100M) is considerate and Oasis in the deep part of the canyon surrounded by the Colca River. Lot palm trees, bushes, agriculture field and nice relaxing area with swimming pool, lunch and then you can explore to the abandoned mines, waterfalls and fish for trout in the Colca River. Here is the second place (bamboo rooms) to spend the night in the Canyon. Dinner will be accompanied by camp fire (B - L - D).

At 4AM wake up for have breakfast and begin ascent of three hours on the left rim of the Colca Canyon, to Cabanaconde (3280M). We walk up 1100M; this is the last hard and steep stony trail to leave from the Colca Canyon.

At 8AM arrive to Cabanaconde and there we will meet our private 4x4 truck and transfer to the Condor's Cross lookout (25 min), to see the fly of the Andean Condor.

Around 10am continue driving the 4x4 truck on unpaved road to see many small towns all around the Colca Valley, colonial churches, and pre Inca terraces located in the high part of this canyon. If the time permits visit the Hot Springs, before to have lunch. After one hour in the hot spring return to Chivay to have lunch.

Around 1PM begin the transfer from Colca to Puno through active volcanoes and snow mountains as Chucura, Chachani, and Ubinas volcano - This private transfer takes around 6 hours and includes 5 stops along the way (Patapampa, Pampas Cañahuas, rock forest of Imata and Mirador de Lagunillas) - Between 6PM and 7PM you will be drop-off at the door of your hotel in Puno (3820M) and end of service (B - L).
