Trekking Through The Past Of The Inca’s Civilization
You are invited to discover the marvelous past of the Andean people living in remote villages over 3600 meters of altitude, surrounded by calm of tallest mountains forming part of La Cordillera de Los Andes.
We are very happy and proud to show a new alternative to explore upper zone of Colca canyon - This new alternative has been explored and studied by our local guides in good relationship with local people living in this section of the Colca valley and finally we perform this trip using Llamas as our ancestors did for their long journeys from highlands to lower zone of the canyon along the Inca network.
This trekking with Llamas includes visiting places dating from 12.000 years old as known as the rupestrian painting of Sumbay caves and the rock art of Mollepunku made 6.000 years ago - One section not explored is the Inca trail built to connect the upper zone with lower zone and others valley as the southern valley of Cusco known as Sicuani where there are important archaeological sites as the ruin of Raqchi (Wiracocha temple) and others remains.
Come to enjoy and get an experience trekking with Llamas for 3 days in a tiny region of Colca canyon and be ready to receive a smile of friendly local people.
