ITINERARY ATV ADVENTURE
The tour begins with a meeting at 8AM in our office of Arequipa (Calle Rivero 509 - Downtown). Firstly, we will drive for about 40min to get out of the city and find our base camp (2800M), where are located our ATV ‘s.
Safety talking about our All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), the guide will explain some instructions and tricks to be used during your biking and then wear the safety gear as gloves, helmet, and goggles.
This wild fund adventure on 4 wheels first goes through volcan Misti and Pichu Pichu mountain, this includes to follow nice gravel road, passing small villages, agriculture fields, and amazing views of volcanic lands.
After 3hrs of uphill adventure we will arrive to Laguna de Salinas (4300M). Short walk to natural viewpoint to see this vast zone surrounding by backside of Pichu Pichus, Misti and Ubinas volcanoes. The trip includes short walking to find and watch Andean flamingos and other Andean birds which is typical to see them all around year at this lagoon.
Short biking around the lagoon to find the best spots and place to make picnic with amazing views of the mountains.
Around 1PM we will bike back taking a different way, good gravel road ascending up to 4700M of altitude on the southeast face of Pichu Pichu mountainand from the pure downhill to our base camp for about 3hrs.
Around 4PM this 4 wheels’ adventure ends at our base camp, then transfer to our office in downtown and end of service.
