How to book with Peru Adventure Tours?

There are several ways that you may want to contact us, either by email to peruadventurestours@hotmail.com or info@peruadventurestours.com, or call +51 054 221658 or 0051 054 959853447. Our friendly staff will answer any questions and arrange your booking.

Do I need to have previous experience?

No prior experience is needed. A full safety and operational instructions is given before the tour to ensure you are comfortable with equipment and safety skills.

How old do I have to be?

The minimum age is 16 years with adult authorization. Participants must have a current driver’s license and be reasonably fit.

What if I want more than the standard trip?

We operate across extensive valleys and volcanic terrain with numerous tracks available, allowing customization based on your desired activity duration.

Is there an age limit for quad biking?

The minimum age is 16 years under supervision. No maximum age exists, but reasonable fitness is required due to off-road conditions.

Do you need any deposit as guarantee when I book the ATV tour?

Yes. Each ATV/Quad bike tour booking will require a valid credit card number for security purposes covering potential bike damage.

Can I bring my own quad bike?

Currently this option is unavailable, though separate courses may be considered in the future.

Does the tour guide have experience guiding a group of riders?

All guides are fully trained in ATV/Quad Biking guiding and have also all completed first aid training. Guides specialize in assisting nervous riders and experienced ones alike.

Do I need to book in advance?

Pre-booking is highly recommended due to popularity. Each booking needs 50% of deposit as first payment.

How long does it last?

Tours typically range from half-day to multiple days and can be customized. Tours are also available in Colca Canyon, Arequipa to Puno, and Cusco regions.

Is ATV/Quad biking tour safe?

Yes, safety is ensured when you follow the full instructions and briefing given by our fully trained staff. Safety equipment is provided.

When is the rainy season?

The rainy season begins in December and ends in April. May through November is the summer season.

What if it’s raining?

Weather does not affect the departure of our tours as the quad bikes perform equally well in wet or dry conditions.

What kind of clothes should I need to bring?

Recommended attire includes long pants, hiking boots or sneakers, long-sleeved shirt or light jacket. Bring waterproof clothing during rainy season. YOU WILL GET DIRTY! Bring extra clothes to change after touring.

How many people are in each group/departure?

A maximum of 6 bikes plus instructor is maintained. Up to 12 people per session with an additional tour guide.

What equipment is provided?

All riders will be personally fitted with their own safety helmet, full finger and windproof gloves, goggles, knee and elbow pads (obligatory) and personal bike.

How do I get there?

Pickup and drop-off is available from our local offices.

Is it difficult?

Bikes are fully automatic and easy to learn. A guide is constantly in touch with the rider’s progress during the tour, evaluating skills and advising where necessary.

Can I take photos?

Yes, photos are encouraged, but consider how to carry your camera safely while riding.

Does the ATV/Quad bike have room where I can fix my backpack, camera and other personal items?

Each ATV/Quad bike has a rear rack where you can carry your backpack with your personal items such as camera, sunscreen, extra jackets, etc.

Children participation

Children aged 6 and older may participate as riders. Minors under 16 require parental consent forms. Those 14 and older may drive with certified guide/instructor supervision on the same machine.

Group sizes

Normal groups are limited to 8 participants, though larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice.

Insurance recommendation

Additional private travel insurance covering cancellations and other potential unforeseen events is strongly recommended.

Unguided riding

Sorry, we do not provide rentals for unguided riding. All tours are guided for your safety.
