SPECTATOR POINT: Just one day in advance the ASO will show us the points as known as “spectator point” and every evening we will work to find the best point to watch the next day competition – Some days we have to drive on gravel road looking to find the best location/point with minimal presence of spectator. FOOD & DRINKS: Each evening and every participant needs to get their own water, snacks and something else to eat during competition watching time – Normally the places where we go to watch the rally are far away from cities and towns. WEATHER: From Lima (390m) and Puno the weather will be very between 35°C and -2°C - Of course you need to bring summer clothes enjoy the weather and if everyone is accord you can swim in one of nice beach along the southerrn coast of Peru – The coldest region will be in the regions of Arequipa and Puno (Lake Titicaca) and we recommend to bring good winter clothes for cold and raining.

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE
The trip is only suitable for travelers with some 4x4 off-road experiences – This expedition includes many hours of drive each day, long riding days will be normal in this tour - The Dakar event takes place in very remote landscape with difficult access routes and this can cause some delay or inconvenience to any of our 4x4 so we suggest lot of patience and remain calm until our camp staff solve the problem.
PERU ADVENTURE TOURS recommend being in good physical - People having lung, heart or blood circulation problems should consult their doctor for the altitude.
