Recommendations

Recommended For Experienced Mountain Bikers - Pure Downhill - Full Day Guided Tour

At 8AM pickup from your hotel and travel thought the Sacred Valley of the Incas, such as Chincheros, Urubamaba and Ollantaytambo. Arrival at a spot passed Abra Malaga (4350m) where we gathered the bikes, after unloading the bikes and performing a final safety check we will embark on headed downhill on windy road using the same road we travelled on the way up. For unexperience mountain bikers are clear to ride along the road, adventurous biker can take much single truck, were also used for the Peruvian round of the Megavalanche Downhill competition. On the way down we pass some more Inca ruins, built around 16th century.

The descent to Ollantaytambo will be achieved in approximately two hours or more depending on the number of photos you take. In Ollantaytambo we will have lunch and afterwards we can explore the town and the incredible constructions, of the Inca architects and builders, surrounding this location.

Free time to walk around this Inca town to get you lunch - The last section to ride the bike will be from Ollantaytambo to Urubamba on paved road for about 2 hours - Around 4PM transfer to your hotel in Cusco and end of service before it gets dark.

RAIN SEASON

December to April. Some days are with blue sky permiting downhill cycle on this zone.

ADVICE FOR BIKERS

Normal physical conditions and summer clothes, bikers require good acclimatization over 3500m. One day before all the bikers will have meeting with the mountain bike guide at our office or in the hotel, who will give a BRIEFING about this bike trip and also you can check the quality of bikes and gear will be used on this trip.
