TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CAMPING GEAR RENTAL
All gear rentals from our company are subject to the following terms and conditions. Reading these prior to ordering may save a lot of frustration because once the gear rented by you.
HOW TO RENT/RESERVE YOUR EQUIPMENT
Equipment has to be reserved up to 30 days in advance. The renters must send email (peruadventurestours@hotmail.com) to reserve the gear indicating how many days and with size of gear are looking for - The renters will try to determine sizes as best we can when you phone in your reservation, but will not be responsible for final fitting decisions. We do not issue refunds for gear that’s returned early.
LENGTH OF RENTAL: The number of days of the rental gear will be used by you.
START: The day you need the equipment - We do everything we can to make sure you will get the correct gear on time – All equipment need to be picking up from our local office in Arequipa or Cusco – You can pick up the equipment from our office the evening before start your adventure (untill 7PM) - We don’t shipping our gear within Peru.
DROP- OFF: The day the gear must be return to us clean, dry, and safely repacked. Any rental shipped back to us later than 7PM will be charged as new day of renting – In case you suffer any delayed with your travel back from your adventure notify us 3 hours prior the close time of our office otherwise we understand you like to hire our equipments for one more day - We recommend a mutual agreement with our office staff the time you will drop off the equipment on the last day.
LATE CHARGES: PERU ADVENTURE TOURS reserves the right to charge you for any days that the rental gear is dropped off late or in un-rentable condition - Un-rentable condition is any condition that precludes us for using the gear. This may include, but is not limited to, excessively dirty, damaged, excessive stench, missing, or otherwise unsuitable for rental.
PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT
All customers must be 18 years old or older - To reserve any equiment you need arrange a deposit of 50% of the cost by www.paypal.com - The final balance of the hiring cost will be paid in our local office just before you come to pick up and take to your adventure.
All hiring needs deposit and this will be held against your credit card until all of the gear is returned to us - The deposit will be released upon return of the gear in the same condition as you received it.
CLEANING
All gear is cleaned and disinfected prior to us shipping it to you. Sleeping bags are washed, tents are ventilated and disinfected, cooksets are washed and sanitized. We require that you clean the gear to the best of your ability so that it is free of mud, heavy dirt, stains, etc. All gear must be dry before shipping to us in order to prevent mold and mildew. Mold and mildew on any returned gear may result in LATE CHARGES and CLEANING FEES as well as potential repair or replacement costs charged to your credit card.
DAMAGES, LOSS, THEFT, OR OTHERWISE NOT RETURNED TO US
Any repair costs will be charged to your credit card. If the gear has to be replaced, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to have the damaged gear - The rental gear is your responsibility at all times between delivery and return to our office. If any or all components are missing or otherwise not returned to us, you give us permission to charge your credit card for the full of the missing gear. There is no insurance available against loss once the gear is delivered to our shop.
RESERVATIONS/CANCELLATIONS
We strongly suggested that your place your order as far in advance as possible to ensure availability and on-time delivery. For any “last-minute” plans, please
