WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING/CARRY

  1. Small backpack
  2. Rain jacket or poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Arequipa/Peru)
  3. Tennis shoes
  4. One complete change of clothing
  5. Water bottle and purification tablets (Micropur are recommended and can be bought in local pharmacies in Arequipa/Peru)
  6. Flashlight and batteries
  7. Hat or cap to protect you from the sun
  8. Sun block (sun protection cream)
  9. Insect repellent
  10. Toiletries, towel and toilet paper
  11. Selection of small snacks, chocolate, dried fruit, biscuits etc,
  12. Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries
  13. Sunglasses
  14. Swimsuit (for the hot springs in the Colca canyon)
  15. Extra money (soles).
